The Newlyweds | Lori + Brandon
Tony and Mary first met Lori and Brandon at the 2019 Outer Banks Wedding Association Expo and instantly loved them!
There was an instant connection, and Mary and Tony were thrilled when Lori and Brandon decided to work with I Do OBX Weddings & Events for the majority of their wedding needs.
With the help of the wonderful Brenda Zeigler with To Have and To Hold, Outer Banks Music Masters with the melodies, Basnight Catering, Neil GT Photography capturing every moment, and I Do OBX Weddings & Events with the ceremony, reception, florals, and lighting, Lori and Brandon ended up with a beautiful Outer Banks wedding!

Outer Banks Location | Twiddy’s Atlantis
After a few unexpected caveats arose regarding Lori + Brandon’s initial wedding venue that prevented its usability, Twiddy Realty quickly and efficiently worked with the couple to find a new perfect venue for their Outer Banks wedding day.

The OBX Atlantis wedding and event home checked all of the couple’s venue boxes and set the scene for a celebration to remember.
An Outer Banks Oceanfront Ceremony | Hexagon Arch
Lori + Brandon said “I Do” under our handcrafted wooden hexagon arch. We added a linen drape to the arch with a custom floral arch arrangement. The couple chose to have a sand ceremony integrated in their Outer Banks ceremony and used our matching wooden table.
Florals
I Do OBX Weddings & Events’ florist, Gail, designed several different floral arrangements for both the ceremony and reception. Florals included flower crowns, bouquets, boutonnieres, arch florals and more!
The arrangements consisted of salmon & peach spray roses, white mums, salmon/peach hypericum berries, salmon/peach ranunculus, white waxflower, and dusty miller.
Reception + Decor
The Atlantis event home features a backyard perfect for an outdoor wedding reception.
I Do OBX Weddings & Events delivered and set up wooden farm tables with matching chairs for family and guests. Lori + Brandon relaxed and enjoyed their wedding dinner at our matching wooden sweetheart table.
The farm tables were adorned with our non-floral decor theme “Stuck on You,” featuring cacti and geometric elements. A big thank you to Shirley at Sugar Snap Events for the grapewood centerpieces!
Event Lighting
We took Lori + Brandon’s reception to the next level with a lighting design customized to their event and the Atlantis. The twinkling string lights added just the right amount of lighting and sparkle for a night of celebration.
Happily Ever After
Thank you, Lori + Brandon, for choosing I Do OBX Weddings and Events to be a part of your Outer Banks wedding. We wish you a lifetime of happiness! 🙂
